Michael J. Christian, litigation manager and partner of Jackson Lewis LLC, will be presenting the September 13th Diversity meeting.  Michael will be incorporating into the subject matter an associated "legal update"; and new case law related to harassment, discrimination, retaliation and diversity.  Since HR professionals are not always well versed with EEO matters, he will be taking it one step further and provide a more "advanced" class.

This seminar provides information and practical guidance regarding federal and state laws concerning diversity and the prohibition, prevention, and correction of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in the workplace.  The program has been designed for the experienced human resource professional and will include review and analysis of recent and related case law.  Through interactive dialogue, attendees will develop an advanced understanding of prevention principles and learn the skills necessary to manage a more respectful and positive work environment.

As a result of attending this event participants will walk away with the following:

  1. Advanced understanding of diversity promotion and discrimination, harassment, and retaliation prevention principles
  2. Skills necessary to manage a more respectful and positive work environment
  3. Knowledge of recent EEO related case law and decisions
  4. An opportunity to ask questions of an attorney experienced and knowledgeable about all aspects of employment/workplace law and EEO matters
